Extremism, ironically, rarely solves anything...

I firmly believe, at this time, that for anything to be done with society (and consequently the health of our planet) it will be the moderates who will need to bridge the gap, make both "sides" understand each other, and drive resolution. TBCont'd....

Observations... (pessimism vs optimism)

Pessimism and Optimism are both merely emotions or feelings... until they are validated. And if you're saying ... "ahhh... oK?" I had considered that someone in the 80's who was running around lamenting all the cars on the road, and vilifying all the rampant consumerism and cursing them both saying "this is going to destroy the planet" - was considered a pessimist.  "Ohhh..you're just being negative" - then 2 (or 3) decades later the rants became truth.  Now that person is labeled a realist. We apply a undesirable label people who have negative views or thoughts... even if they happen to (eventually) be right.
